28th July - 4th August 2024 Alam Batu Resort - BALI & KOMODO

Best of Muck & Wideangle diving at the north-east coast of Bali in the wonderful Alam Batu Beach Bungalow Resort. We will dive in the excellent reefs around the beautiful resort and talk about macro photography with and without a light former (snoot) as well as some wideangle and close-focus wideangle dives. There is also the possibility for night dives and blackwater dives!

Our Photo Coaches Tobias Friedrich and Simon Lorenz are professional underwater photographers and experienced photo coaches. They will aim to advance each photographers level of photography from where they are at the given moment.

Every day we will cover different topics for advanced and beginner photographers. The groups will be split according to interest and experience. In detail we will cover

- Basics: Framing, manual mode, lighting, strobe positioning,
- Digital: Lightroom and Photoshop, beginner and advanced
- Lighting: Advanced lighting techniques, snoot and background lighting
- Macro and Super-Macro
- Close Focus Wide Angle
- Artificial backgrounds ("disco bokeh") and other creative techniques

Each participant is addressed individually so that the skills can be guaranteed to improve. A DSLR or very good camera is not absolutely necessary for participation. Equipment can be borrowed after consultation. Compact camera owners, partners and non-photographers are also welcome, of course.

There is also the possibility of an extension with the AMIRA liveaboard to West Komodo from 4th to 11th of August where Simon and Tobias will also join.
